Snow hike!

This past weekend we drove up to Leavenworth....a touristy town in the Cascades where all the buildings look Bavarian.  We decided on the trip as we are looking at buying some property there and wanted to see what it looked like.

The property itself was on a road that wasn't plowed, so we did a hike in the snow.  We made a homemade sled out of a trash can lid - but alas it was too small for Olivia.  She did enjoy it at first though and was squealing with delight!  Sorry no pictures, but you can see the "sled" in this picture behind us:

Olivia alternated between loving walking in the snow and wanting to be carried.  Here is a picture of her daddy carrying her:

To try and keep Olivia's hands warm, we used these gloves of Andrew's.  Mental note to self to buy her some that fit her!  But the monster hands were pretty cute......

All in all, we had a great time and are looking forward to finding some property to buy so we can spend some more time there!
